That is such a good documentary. I love Social Distortion. Mike Ness is so incredible. Minor Threat was featured as well. I wish I could have been there to see those shows.

I love Exene Cervenka from X. I really loved her performance in The Decline of Western Civilization. I own the VHS and the soundtrack.
I look up to Exene. I always wanted to be in a band like X. John Doe is awesome. I wish I could have been alive to see them during that time.

This show is my guilty pleasure. I never miss an episode. I am hooked! Kim is my favorite. I love when she talks about her boyfriend. Sheree is a close second. I loved the Adult Sleepover with the pole dancers. I have always wanted to take a pole dancing class.

Whatever happened to Skankin' Pickle? They used to play a ton of shows when I was a kid.

I also remember this band called Meal Ticket. They had a female lead singer.

I just got back from the Now and Zen Festival. The first singer was a woman calling herself Lenka. She was good, but I have never heard of her. The second act was a woman named Sarah Barilles. She had a lot of fans. Everyone cheered for her. The third act was Sugar Ray. I didn't believe it was the real Sugar Ray at first because the singer looked so different. He was wearing sunglasses too. He was really funny and he was acting like such a ham. It was cute though. The fourth act was Gavin Degraw. He was amazing! He sang so well and did a cute dance. He put on an amazing show. The last act was the singer Duffy. I am not that familiar with her music, but she has such a beautiful voice.

So I was supposed to go to the Megapuss show on Sunday, but sadly I did not go. I was just too tired from the RANCID show and the fact that I had an early appointment the next day after the Megapuss show. The more I think of it though the more I wish I had gone to the show. Oh well, I am pretty sure they will come to my area again. Lets hope I can go this time. I am sure I will get over it. It just sucks to know I probably missed an awesome show.

I went to the RANCID show on Saturday. It was wonderful. They had two opening bands. Monkey House and the Aquabats. Monkey House was ok. I thought it was really cute when the guitar player said his parents were at the show. Awww! The Aquabats were so fun. They threw some little kids out into the mosh pit. Hilarious! Finally, RANCID came out. They played so many of my favorite songs. They put on an amazing show. I will remember this show for a very long time. What a night!

So I went to Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. It was amazing! Devendra Banhart was amazing. He owned it. He handed out ice cream sandwiches to the crowd. What a guy! It was so much fun seeing him live.

So my birthday is on Sunday, but I have to celebrate it on Saturday. That is fine with me. The family is taking me to Dave and Busters. I have never been there in my life, but I have heard they serve Bananas Foster there. I have been wanting to try that dish for many years now. Well here is my chance. Happy Birthday to me.

I have a headache and aspirin is not working. My head is pounding. Ugh! This may sound odd, but I think my head might hurt because the length of my hair. My hair is almost down to my waist, but I just do not want to cut it, it took me three years to grow it all back. If I had the courage I would just chop it off ala Mia Farrow. I know if I did that, I would just regret it. I guess I will find out.
